As of January 1, 2019, California law requires that employers with five or more employees, including temporary and seasonal employees and independent contractors, provide workplace sexual harassment prevention training that lasts two hours to their supervisorial employees, and that lasts one hour to their non-supervisorial employees. This interactive training, presented in English on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, Spanish on Friday, May 17, 2019, and in English again on Wednesday May 22, 2019, is designed for small or large businesses, and satisfies the new California mandatory training requirements for supervisorial and non-supervisorial staff:
- Registration begins at 8:30 AM;
- The first hour, beginning at 9:00 AM, will be for supervisors and non-supervisorial staff;
- The second hour will be just for supervisors.
The training will include discussions of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, abusive conduct, gender transition issues, as well as what a supervisor or non-supervisorial employee should do when faced with harassment in the workplace.
